In case you are just looking for the highlights, here is a "coles notes" version of the announcements:

Enduro/Freeride Trail Grant

The third time is the charm! We were successful in applying for the CFEP grant that will be used to fund an exciting new trail up at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park. Stay tuned for an official press release come.

Pedal for Pints

We're stoked to announce a social fundraiser going on this season called "Pedal for Pints," in collaboration with Sheepdog Brewing, The Bike Shop, and the Old School Ice Cream Bus. Find out more here.

Trail Advisory Committee

At CAMBA, we recognize that we work on shared-use trails. For this reason, we must get input early in the planning phase of our projects from crucial stakeholder groups such as trail user groups, clubs, and land managers. To reflect this, we are launching a new CAMBA committee called the "Trail Advisory Committee." More info to come on this soon.

Youth Summer Job Position

We successfully applied for a grant through the Canada Summer Jobs Program to allow us to hire two youths to do some trail work this summer! We'll be posting a job description soon that we will send out on social media channels, but to qualify, you basically need:

  • To be between 15 and 30 years of age
  • To be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred
  • To have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada
